Privacy Information Collection Notice
Thrive is a centralised platform designed to assist the Church in managing its contacts, interactions, and relationships with individuals it engages with (“third-party contacts”). These include members of the public, individuals in the community, church members, former members, families, students, and others. Thrive enables pastors, ministry leaders, school chaplains, authorised staff, and approved volunteers to record interactions with third-party contacts, capturing information that helps the Church provide ministry support, build relationships, and offer relevant church-related services, activities, and spiritual care. Access to Thrive is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Who Collects the Information? (Controller)
Personal information in Thrive is collected and controlled by your Conference, Mission, Union, or School System, each being a separate legal entity acting as a Controller. These entities determine the purposes for which information is collected and how it will be used for ministry, administrative, educational, and pastoral functions.
Local churches operate under their respective Conference or Mission and are not separate legal entities.
